2018, 36.5”x30.75”, This quilt was influenced by wildfires in California and drought in Scandinavia. Our blue planet has ever increasing areas on fire.

2018, 36.5”x30”, As polar ice melts the green earth will shrink and be covered by blue seas. this is already happening in places such as Miami.

As our planet warms our oceans absorb much of the heat. Life in the ocean is changed. Algae makes the sea uninhabitable for many species.

2018, 35.5”x29.5” The problem in this piece was how to illustrate the phenomenon of a blood moon. The earth became a blue circle so it could be seen through while casting its shadow. The series took its name from the blue circle in this piece.

2019, 39.5”x32”, The warming oceans have caused a migration that we on the surface of the earth can’t see. Inside the blue circle of the earth the cod are migrating to cooler waters.

2019, 38”x58.5”, Our actions on the planet have ever widening consequences. The effects of our actions aren’t discrete. Changes in one area can bump into and effect another area.
